The G1001 devices by Positron control the connection of Residential Gateway or User CPE to the G.hn Access Network, under the supervision of the Positron GAM. They ensure that all information transmitted over G.hn links is safeguarded with robust AES-128 encryption. When utilized in Point-to-Multipoint mode via coaxial wiring, the G1001-C model operates under GAM control to segregate traffic from each subscriber sharing the same coax splitter.
