The Alpha Wireless AW3161 Sector Panel Antenna with Remote Electric Tilt is a high-performance 4-port, 65° single-band sector panel antenna operating in the 3300 – 3800 MHz frequency range. This antenna features advanced phase-shifter technology, effectively suppressing upper side lobes for all tilts and frequencies. With over 20 dB of upper side lobe suppression and 30 dB front-to-back ratio, the AW3161-E-F-V2 eliminates interference in LTE networks, resulting in improved cell edge performance and enhanced spectral efficiency. The antenna ensures consistent coverage near and far from the access point, thanks to its consistent beamwidth and null filling below the main beam. Supporting ±45° slant polarization and 4x4 MIMO, it offers an impressive 18 dBi gain and optimized patterns suitable for 3.5GHz CBRS and C-band deployments.
This Alpha Wireless AW3161 Sector Panel Antenna incorporates enclosed remote electrical tilt (eRET) technology, allowing precise electrical tilt adjustments via a motor located inside the antenna housing. This motor is controlled through an AISG cable, receiving commands from an AISG Controller. By using electrical commands instead of mechanical bracket adjustments, eRET streamlines antenna fine-tuning, reducing the time and risk involved in the process.
