Adtran Total Access 5000 8-Port SFP GPON OLT Module

The Adtran Total Access 5000 Optical Line Terminal (OLT) provides eight, industry standard, G.984 compliant, GPON interfaces per access module.

Each module can support up to eight 2.5Gbps interfaces to the Total Access 5000 backplane. This provides 2.488Gbps downstream and 1.244Gbps upstream standard rates.

• Eight, G.984 compliant, GPON SFP interfaces
• 2.488Gbps downstream (with rate limiting) and 1.244Gbps upstream rates
• Front panel LEDs for Power, Alarm, Test and PON 1 – PON 8 Link status
• Enet GEM encapsulation for all services, including video, voice, and T1 transport
• Internet Protocol Television (IPTV)
• Voice Protocol (dependent on ONT):
  • GR-303
  • TR-008
  • SIP
  • MGCP
• Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE)
• MAC address manual deletion from OLT MAC table
• Supports all ONTs marked for upgrade using a single command for each PON
• Allows upstream and downstream rates to be configured to any whole value up to the PON’s physical rate
• IPTV on any Ethernet Port on the ONT
• The 8-Port OLT meets all applicable domestic and international compliance requirements including the following:
