With a remarkable career spanning 33 years at WAV, Norm has played a pivotal role in shaping the company's growth and success. Under his leadership, WAV has transformed from a two-person point-of-sale reseller and integrator into a leading distributor of over 50 wireless technologies and end-to-end network solutions.

Norm's commitment to customer-centric service and his ability to surround himself with talented individuals have been essential to the company's success. With an unwavering commitment to WAV's fundamental principles, Norm drives the company forward, inspiring others to embrace personal and professional success.

Bob Nelson

President

Bob Nelson, WAV's President and Chief Operating Officer, brings over 20 years of technology sales and business leadership experience to the company. Bob joined WAV in 2014 and most recently held the role of Chief Operating Officer prior to his promotion to President in 2023. He has been instrumental in driving WAV's growth and establishing its culture of collaboration and empowerment. Bob is known for his ability to develop strong, nimble leadership teams prepared to take on the challenges of today's rapidly evolving business environment. He is committed to extending WAV's leadership position in broadband and wireless infrastructure product distribution and working hand in hand with WAV's world-class clients to close the digital divide.

Beyond his role at WAV, Bob serves on the board of directors for the Mental Health Association of Greater Chicago. He is a competitive sailor and member of the Island Goats Sailing Society, having completed over 25 Chicago to Mackinac yacht races.

Mary Kuempel

CFO

Mary Kuempel is the CFO of WAV and MBSI WAV. With over 30 years of financial and operational leadership experience, Mary brings expertise in financial modeling, systems development, and business acumen, significantly impacting the company's success. She is dedicated to driving WAV's growth and profitability while inspiring individuals to reach their full potential.

Zach Hubeck

Executive Vice President of Marketing

Zach Hubeck, with over 23 years of experience at WAV, serves as the Executive Vice President of Marketing since May 2022. Zach's positive and light-hearted demeanor, coupled with his expertise in marketing, enables him to effectively tell the stories of WAV's customers, manufacturers, and prospects through various mediums, strengthening the WAV brand.

Zach is described as “someone who does what he says we're going to, only because he has a passion for serving others.” Excited about WAV's growth, Zach envisions the company as THE distributor in various vertical markets supported by a strong product portfolio, talented individuals, and a culture rooted in 30 fundamentals. Tre Owen

Vice President of Sales

Tre Owen, the Vice President of Sales at WAV, brings a wealth of experience and expertise in all aspects of sales. He joined WAV after the company's acquisition of Last Mile Gear, where he held the position of General Manager. During his time at Last Mile Gear, Tre worked closely with Last Mile Gear's ISP parent company, Cascade Networks, which provided him with valuable insights into the day-to-day struggles and essential tools required for ISP success.

Tre is passionate about connecting the unconnected and is dedicated to ensuring WAV meets all its customers' communication needs now and in the future. He believes WAV is strongly positioned to deliver comprehensive solutions to its customers. His responsibilities include creating and implementing go-to-market strategies and operational plans to achieve WAV's business objectives.

Mary Boedigheimer

Controller

Mary Boedigheimer is the Controller at WAV, where she has been a vital part of the team for the past six years. With over 18 years of experience as a financial professional, Mary brings extensive expertise to her role. She excels in problem-solving across operations, consistently finding innovative solutions that add value to WAV's customers. Mary's attention to detail and meticulous financial management skills ensure that WAV remains in a strong financial position to support its growth.

With extensive experience spanning over 25 years in inventory control, purchasing, and project management across distribution and manufacturing industries, Laura brings exceptional operational expertise to her role.

Laura's strengths lie in operations, process improvements, and her cross-functional communication and collaboration skills. She is committed to driving WAV's progress by expanding the team to increase sales and services in current verticals while exploring opportunities to enhance throughput in additional verticals. Her strong drive for self-accomplishment, problem-solving, and the desire to establish and improve processes motivate her to deliver her best work consistently.

Warehouse Operations Manager

Chris Wenck is the Warehouse Operations Manager at WAV, where he has been a dedicated team member for nearly six years. Chris brings strong knowledge and expertise in distribution, warehousing, and logistics. He has been recognized for outstanding contributions, receiving the Operations MVP award in 2018 and a CultureWise Peer recognition in 2022.

Looking ahead, Chris aims to identify strategies that can remove barriers and scale the business, creating more value for WAV. His drive to work his best stems from the gratification of overcoming obstacles and making a difference in every department he touches. Chris effectively directs and manages inbound/outbound site operations, ensuring that WAV's staff consistently exceeds customer standards.

Francisco Mendez

Technical Operations Manager

Francisco Mendez is the Manager of Technical Operations at WAV since October 2020, bringing an impressive 23 years of dedication to the company. Francisco has been an essential member of the team for over two decades.

With a strong background in designing, deploying, and managing wired and wireless networks, Francisco's expertise spans over 25 years, including his military service. His deep knowledge and experience add significant value to WAV's operations. What drives Francisco to work his best is the opportunity to solve problems and make a positive impact on society through technology.

Chris Brigham

Business Systems Manager

Chris Brigham is a dedicated Business Systems Manager with a track record of leadership, notably receiving the 2022 WAV Outstanding Leadership Award. Leading the Business Systems Team, Chris ensures timely response to user requests, from product updates to system troubleshooting and process automation. As a Certified NetSuite Administrator, he has deep knowledge of the NetSuite platform, aiming to continually enhance it for increased company efficiency and customer satisfaction. Chris leverages his technical and analytical skills to address system errors and devise innovative automation solutions, and his strategic and creative thinking helps streamline company processes, making them efficient and user-friendly.

Away from work, Chris enjoys golf, fantasy sports, and attending his children’s activities. Chris approaches every aspect of work and life with dedication and balance.
