WAV becomes second major distributor for Baicells disruptive LTE products

Baicells Technologies, an emerging global provider of disruptive LTE solutions, announced today that WAV, Inc., the value-added distributor of world-class wireless networking technology and provider of best-in-class support and services, has achieved Authorized Baicells Distribution (ABD) partner status to become Baicells second North American full service distribution partner. Baicells enters commercial trials at the end of this month for its easy to operate and value-priced LTE technology with a select group of about 40 service providers around North America.

WAV joins as an ABD at the level that enables it to service the ongoing needs of trial customers, who have special pricing privileges for one year following their successful completion of trial requirements. This gives WAV access to immediate run rate revenue from early adopters.

"WAV is known not only for an expertise in the space that goes back to WLAN's earliest days, but also for unimpeachable ethics," commented Patrick Leary, Baicells Technologies North America Inc. president. "That's important to us. What's also really interesting to us is that WAV has a major foothold in the enterprise space and Baicells thinks this will be a booming opportunity once the new CBRS band comes on line. We look forward to a long and satisfying relationship with Norm and his team."

"WAV selects our manufacturers methodically and cautiously because we invest in our partnerships, delivering the technologies that our customers have expressed a need for as a path to growing their business," explained Norm Dumbroff, President and CEO of WAV, Inc. "The technology Baicells is bringing to market has real potential to create new revenue streams for our partners. We want to get in front of this opportunity. As well, the Baicells team has been very open to our suggestions and this shows they take to concept of partnership as seriously as we do."

Baicells, an end-to-end LTE solution provider, has three main product sets: Light4g, BroFi, and WeLTE, targeting small cells, rural broadband, and private LTE networks, respectively. The company also develops its own cloud core enhanced packet core (EPC) technologies, along with the supporting QAM management and billing software tools. Baicells solutions support unlicensed spectrum, as well as the newly-created U.S. CBRS band, and higher power 2.x and Canadian 3.x frequencies.
